Miss Moochie's scratch box is now over FIVE years old and still in use. The scratch box arrived last week and Gibbs took to it right away, thankfully! He sleeps and plays and stretches on it, so I'd say it's a huge success! Mama ABSOLUTELY loves her new scratch box.  I have never seen her enjoy scratching so vigorously. The handsome box fits perfectly in our home and we have found a great sunny spot to display it.  It was a pleasure speaking with you this past weekend.  We will surely tell our cat friends about your product!   Sincerely, Elaine and Lou ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story About A Happy Craft Show Customer We participated in two craft fairs in Newburyport, Massachusetts; one in the Spring and one in the Fall. At the Spring Fair our booth was just across the street from that of a woman selling bowls made from melted and reshaped vinyl LP's (Hendrix, Janis, Beatles etc.). During the two days of the show we became acquainted and talked about our mutual love of cats. At the end of the show this woman, Jeanne bought one of our cat boxes. At the Fall show Jeanne was about three booths down from us. When we had an opportunity to say hello to each other she IMMEDIATELY started telling us about how big a hit the box was with her two cats. She has a big male and a smaller female and the male is the boss/alpha cat in the house. She said that the split second she put the box on the floor, without any catnip even, the male got right on it and didn't move much for about three days. He then ALLOWED the female an opportunity to sit on it, temporarily. The male being the dominant cat, continues to pretty much dominate the box . She uses it when he chooses to go elsewhere in the houseJeanne also brought her cell phone in which she had about a dozen pictures of the cats on the box. Not only did we both get to see them but Jeanne also showed them to people looking at her wares and when she had a few opportunities, she showed them to people looking at the boxes at our booth. On various other occasions she would go by us calling to the passersby up and down the street, "Make sure you look at theses cat boxes! They are amazing, cats love them!"  She became an unofficial salesperson during the two days of the show. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another Story About A Happy (?) Craft Show Customer On the first day of the Newburyport Fall show from the story above, we sold a cat scratch box to a nice lady with two fairly new, young cats who hadn't quite established a dominance pattern. The next morning was pouring and we waited until the rain stopped before getting to the fair. As soon as we got there the vendor in the next booth said there was a woman looking for us who asked him to tell us she would be back.  About half an hour later, she showed up and told us that the cat box she had purchased the day before was a huge hit. She had taken it home and her two cats fought over it all night, keeping her awake most of the night.  She was desperate, she had to have another box!         ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aramis loves his box. He weighs 16 pounds and needed something large. His other box was just cardboard and he had dug big trenches out of it. I know this one will last him a lot longer. If people would think about the fact that they would spend much more money on buying several cheap boxes, I am sure they would see the value in buying one that will last. Aramis has already used his a lot and sometimes enjoys just lying on it. I have taken pictures that I plan on sending. Thank you for your product and have a happy new year.    --  Cindy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuffy loves his new scratch box.  It took a while for him to feel comfortable in it...he's a real scaredy cat!  He has taken to it quite nicely and appreciates all of the amenities, like the ledge that he pushes his little feet against and hangs off it like the "liquid leopard" photos we've probably all seen.  Sometimes he lays on the rug and rests his head on it.  He goes to it before and after meals...it's HIS place, and that makes him feel special.   Thanks again for making such a cool place for cats to (literally) hang out!     -- Betsy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I received my box it is just as advertised and my cat seems to think, as yours, that it is a terrific bed.
