TO
PAY FOR YOUR ORDER ONLINE BY CREDIT CARD:
1. USE YOUR CREDIT CARD or A
PAYPAL ACCOUNT. When you choose a quantity and click on the "BUY
NOW" button below, you will be taken to our CATSCRATCHBOX
ACCOUNT at Paypal. On this web page you will be offered
two easy payment options:
A. PROCESS
YOUR CREDIT
CARD DIRECTLY--YOU
DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. On our account page you will see,
"Don't have a Paypal Account? Use your credit card or bank
account (where available)." Next to this, click on the blue
"CONTINUE" button. This will take you to the usual
web form allowing you to process your Visa, Mastercard, American
Express, or Discover card.
B. USE
YOUR PAYPAL
ACCOUNT OR ESTABLISH ONE. Our account page contains a LOG
IN box for you to use your previously established Paypal account
username and password, through which you may process your order.
If you want, but do not already have a Paypal account,
you will need to use this link: Paypal.com , set up an account, and then return
to catscratchbox.com. We could find no way to create an
automatic return from their site to ours. If you know of one
please let us know.
2. USE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT. When you choose
a quantity and click on the "BUY NOW" button below,
you will be taken to our CATSCRATCHBOX ACCOUNT at Google Checkout.
This process requires a Google Account. You may establish
a new Google Account or use your already established account,
through which you may process your order with a credit card.

SHIPPING and DAMAGED SHIPMENT INFORMATION
All items
are shipped FedEx within three business days. If there is an
unforeseen circumstance or emergency and we are unable to meet
this time frame we will make every effort to notify you as soon as
we are able. If we are on vacation the web-site will contain
a notice and timetable on the home page.
IF YOU
ARE HOME:
If the delivery
is made and the Cat Box is obviously damaged, notify the driver
that you are refusing the shipment because of damage, and please notify
us as soon as possible.
If the delivery
is made and you are uncertain of the condition, the driver will
wait a minute while you open it so you can keep it if it is fine
or refuse it if it is not. Please notify
us of the condition if you must refuse it so we can deal with
the carrier expeditiously.
If there
is concealed damage which you find later, follow this same procedure:
IF YOU
ARE NOT HOME:
If you discover
the Cat Box has been damaged, it may just take one look at the
unopened box OR if you find concealed damage once you
have opened the package, please stop unwrapping
as soon as possible. You must notify us as soon as possible AND
follow the carrier's requirements to, "retain the shipping cartons,
packing, and content in the same condition they were in when
the concealed loss or damage was discovered. FedEx reserves the
right to inspect the original shipping cartons,
packing and content."
***IMPORTANT
NOTICE***
We will
be unable assist you with a damaged shipment if these conditions
are not met, if we are not notified of a problem within 5 business
days, or if returned goods are not shipped back within 10 business
days. A replacement will be shipped as soon as possible.

RETURN POLICY
If you are
not pleased with the product you may return the Cat Box in absolutely
unused condition and in the original packaging. The amount of
$50.00, will be refunded. You must contact us within 5 business
days for a return authorization number (RA) or the refund will
not be processed. Returned goods must be shipped
back within 10 business days of your receiving this authorization
number.
ALTERNATIVES
You have
purchased an extraordinarily well made 10 lb. cat box.
Due to the expense of shipping we think it is impractical to
return the Cat Box if it isn't damaged. We think there are two
better alternatives:
1. The best
alternative is to donate it to a cat shelter. Under many circumstances
this would be a tax deductible charitable contribution.
2. Gift
the Scratch Box to a friend with cats, we know they make an excellent
Christmas gift for example.
